Synopsis:
Isa struggles to tell her parents the truth about her future; as the time of her decision quickly approaches, she is visited by strange and bizarre manifestations of her guilt.Director's Statement:
Our short film Take Care started as a tribute to my family but then became a way to connect intimately to a culture that always felt so distant, reshaping what I thought it meant to be Filipino-American. However, the family in this story just so happens to be Filipino. At its core, this film is about anyone who has felt guilt when pursuing their passions, especially when their family has given up so much for them.
